July 2015 Market News. What a busy month we’ve had in the Crested Butte real estate market. 30 additional condo and single family home sales have occurred since my last newsletter. That makes 126 condo and home sales totaling $67,705,661 closed so far with the average reduction off list price remaining at 7%. Another 54 properties totaling $31,614,799 are under contract five of which are over $1mil. Another exclusive Sotheby’s listing sold in house for $4,000,000 – 535 Journey’s End Road.
Land sales continue to warm up over last year as 67 parcels totaling $12,681,700 have sold so far this year. That’s a 51% increase over the same period last year. 9 additional parcels totaling $1,151,400 are currently under contract.

As of July 1st Benson Sotheby’s has sold $50.7mil worth or real estate transactions, that’s $29mil more than our closest competitor! I’m also very pleased to announce that with the exception of five deed restricted units at my exclusive listing the Timbers, all condos have been reserved.
