LoCo Local Colorado Spirits and Food is opening! On Friday, November 20th at 5pm a new establishment will open its doors in Crested Butte. LoCo Local Colorado promises hand crafted cocktails using Colorado spirits and a delicious and creative menu filled with local Colorado ingredients. Behind the bar “master cocktail craftsman” Kyle Anderson has created a menu of fantastic drink options that are sure to represent the Centennial state in all of its glory. Try a “not-so-olde fashioned” with Leopold Bros American small batch whiskey, cherry and bitters or a Daiquiri made with fresh lime, cane sugar and Crested Butte made Montanya platino rum. Wine from Infinite Money Theorem in Denver and a selection of bottled beer from breweries around the state are also available.
Award winning chef Kate Ladoulis has created a menu that offers goat cheese fondue, braised colorado beef and pork meatballs, pork riblets with Colorado honey-bourbon BBQ sauce, lamb burgers and more!
The food and drinks are sure to impress, but the venue itself should be just as awesome. The new venue is located on Elk Avenue next to the Eldo and across the street from Montanya’s in downtown Crested Butte. The interior was designed to reflect a modernized mining tavern and the centerpiece will be the hand carved, pre-prohibition back bar. So, go check out LoCo Local Colorado, and support local Colorado business and products!
