Spring break has arrived and now is a great time to discuss fun for the whole family in Crested Butte. Earlier in the month, I posted a list of the Best Restaurants in Crested Butte for Families, but there’s more to the family scene in Crested Butte than kids menus at your favorite restaurant.
The Coloradoan named Crested Butte in a recent article on 5 Kid-friendly Ski Resorts, and for good reasons! The resort has gone out of its way to make kids a priority around here. Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers a kids night out program, the Adventure Park and of course- great skiing for all ages. With over 60 beginner and intermediate runs, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a perfect place for beginner skiers and riders. There is plenty of advanced and expert terrain as well- providing a fun place to shred for the first day skier or the Olympic athlete.
If the kids (or the parents) want to try out something other than skiing there are tons of non skiing activities. Dogsledding, tubing, mini golf, the Trailhead Children’s Museum, or a movie at the local cinema are all cool places to check out that don’t require lift tickets. If you are looking for fun for the whole family in Crested Butte, look no further- you have tons of family friendly options on and off the mountain.
