Denver To Host Outdoor Retailer Summer, Winter Trade Shows
It’s official, Denver has landed the coveted Outdoor Retailer Summer and Winter trade shows, sources confirm. The five year deal will bring in an expected $45 million to the local economy and an estimated 45,000 attendees to Denver. The decision comes after nearly 18 months of negotiations. Visit Denver has secured the bi-annual trade show to be held at the Colorado Convention Center for the next five years starting in January 2018. Denver was in the top of the running to nab the Outdoor Retailer Trade Shows which features outdoor gear manufacturers, retail store owners, and outdoor media. Each trade show is scheduled over four days offering seminars, and discussions on emerging trends and issues. Colorado’s booming outdoor industry and growing number of visitors makes Denver the perfect host for the Outdoor Retailer Trade Shows. Its leaders are hoping that the venue change will bring more outdoor business to Colorado. Though this will be a great move for Visit Colorado, Visit Salt Lake is surely sad to see Outdoor Retailer go. Read more on Denver To Host Outdoor Retailer Summer, Winter Trade Shows here.
