The 2017 Fall Foliage Prediction Map
September is here and the leaves are already starting to flood the mountain sides with shades of yellow and gold. Some would say this is the best time of year. It looks like even with all the moisture we received in July and August we are seeing the leaves changing a little earlier than normal this year. With that said, be sure to check out The 2017 Fall Foliage Prediction Map to estimate peak leaf season in your neck of the woods. This map tracks peak season from the West Coast to the Great Smokey Mountains, allowing you to map your leaf seeking road trips across the states. However, we have some of the best “Peak Leaf” viewing right here in our own backyard. There’s nothing like taking a drive over Kebler Pass during peak leaf season and taking in all the vibrant golds, yellows, oranges and even some reds. Venture out Slate River or Washington Gulch and take a drive over Paradise Divide and down through the beautiful Gothic corridor basking in the wonderful colors of the season. Check The 2017 Fall Foliage Prediction Map, grab the cameras and enjoy the beauty of the season.
