Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation Donation Day ~
The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! The Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation Donation Day is tomorrow, Wednesday November 22nd. The resort’s official opening day isn’t until Thursday, November 23rd so this is your chance to beat the crowds and hit the slopes a day early while helping support a great local cause.
The Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation provides the youth of Gunnison and Crested Butte with financial support as they pursue their passion for snow sports. Their goal is to see that each young person in the Valley is able to experience the joy and excitement found through winter recreational activities such as skiing, and snowboarding. They provide scholarships as well as grants to partnering programs to achieve this goal.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort is partnering once again with the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation for the second annual Donation Day. The resort will be collecting a $15 donation per person for a lift ticket valid on Wednesday November 22nd. 100% of the proceeds collected from the Donation Day ticket sales will go to the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation, helping fund their mission of “supporting the youth in the Gunnison Valley in their pursuits of sportsmanship, passion, and discipline through snow sport experiences”.
So come kick off the 2018 Ski Season a day early and help support this great local cause. Lifts open at 9:00 AM, tickets are available at the Adventure Center only so be sure to get there early and remember, kids ages 6 and under ski free!
