This wildly creative collection of dances celebrates the joy our community shares through the art of dance. Move The Butte 2018 features local artists, dancers, and choreographers of all levels, performing a variety of dance such as Contemporary, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Contact Improv and everyone’s favorite, Aerial Dance. Each year the Move The Butte has grown, consistently providing the community of Crested Butte with quality dance shows.
The Crested Butte Dance Collective is a part of the Crested Butte School of Dance, Crested Butte’s premier dance academy. The Crested Butte School of Dance is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing those of all ages the opportunity to be involved in dance. From nurturing the youngest of dancers to providing intensive instruction to serious students, the Crested Butte School of Dance is the premier dance school in Crested Butte.
