We’re excited to learn that Crested Butte will be welcoming Ride The Rockies again this summer. The 34th Annual Ride The Rockies Bike Tour will start in Crested Butte June 9th taking riders through many highs and lows. High mountain passes such as Monarch Pass, Independence Pass and McClure Pass offer a challenging ride. The course then meander through beautiful lower valleys such as the Gunnison Valley and Roaring Fork Valley. Another stretch parallels the Collegiate Peaks as they ride to Buena Vista, taking in breathtaking views of the Arkansas River. Riders will return to the Gunnison Valley and Mt. Crested Butte on June 15th, welcomed by a celebratory street party in Gunnison.
The 11th Annual Prologue Experience also starts in Crested Butte on June 7th and is limited to just 50 people. Riders will enjoy luxury accommodations in Mt. Crested Butte before heading out on a spectacular ride over Cochetopa Pass. Dinner on Friday will be at Elk Avenue Prime with Author Jason Sumner. Not a bad way to kickoff the Ride The Rockies tour.
