Crested Butte’s incredible music scene is getting nationwide attention. Rolling Stone just named The Mountain High Music Festival #1 on their list of The 10 Best Colorado Mountain Town Music Festivals. Held in small venues, this exclusive event has a very intimate feel to it. For three nights, some of the worlds best artists play along with up-and-coming stars. Presented by Dean Dillon, the Mountain High Music Festival benefits Cattlemen’s Days Tough Enough to Wear Pink and the Adaptive Sports Center; both local organizations. The 2020 line up includes incredible artists such a Lee Ann Womack, Luke Combs, and Jamey Johnson to name a few. Be sure to check out the entire line up and get your tickets early as this event sells out fast!
In addition to the Mountain High Music Festival, Crested Butte hosts many other great music events. While Alpenglow has always been a local favorite, Mt. Crested Butte hosts Music on the Mountain. With the opening of the new Center For The Arts we saw Matisyahu and welcome Leftover Salmon December 27-28th. The new auditorium really is spectacular and we look forward to many great artists to come through. Another great music venue is the Public House. In addition to great food, their downstairs has been transformed into an intimate location with amazing sound. Be sure to watch for great local events which can be found on on our home page.
