February 2020 Edition
February is here and 2020 is off to a great start. Spring Break is just around the corner and the mountain is skiing well. We are excited to see the snow falling and expected to continue for the next week.
The overall residential real estate market for the first month of 2020 is up 18% over the same period last year. Another $32,903,900 is currently under contract, 11 of which are listed at $1mil or more. Inventory is down again with seven less listings this month. Vail announcements are expected to be on the recent horizon so expect another bump in prices this summer. Call me anytime to discuss the current state of the market.

Crested Butte Collection ranked #1 for volume and #1 for quantity of transactions in Gunnison County for 2019. Corey closed out the year with $43,193,600 in sales volume representing over 6% of the entire real estate market.*

Current market conditions
The Crested Butte real estate market starts off the new decade with strong sales compared to last year. Residential sales volume for January was $8,373,050, up $1,500,050 from last year along with amount of transactions (15 compared to 8). Currently another 40 properties are under contract totaling $32,903,900, 11 of which are listed at $1mil or more including a luxurious 5 bedroom Elk Avenue home listed for $3,675,000.
