June 2023 Edition
June is here bringing with it much warmer weather and sunshine. This winter’s incredible snowpack is melting off and giving way to what is anticipated to be an incredible wildflower season; we’re already starting to see blankets of color carpeting the hills in the south end of the valley. CBMR opening day is Saturday, June 17th. Lifts will be spinning 7 days a week from 9:00-5:00 and until 7:00 on Twilight Nights. Check out our Events Calendar for a list of June events. We update this calendar, which can be found on the homepage of our website, monthly.
The overall residential real estate market remains stable as we head into June. We closed out May with $47.7mil in sales volume year to date. Another $53.4mil is currently under contract putting us $64.6mil below the sales volume at this same time last year. The average sales price is down slightly (2%) to $1,038,476 from $1,060,335 at this time last year. Inventory is still somewhat limited however we’re seeing more properties come on the market for the summer season.

Current market conditions
Residential sales volume through May totaled $47,769,930 which is down $64,625,620 from this time last year. Number of transactions were also down (46 compared to 106). The average sales price, $1,038,476, is also down slightly (2%) from $1,060,335 last year. Currently there are 39 properties under contract totaling $53,473,776; 15 of which are listed at $1mil or more including a beautiful mountain retreat listed by our office for $9,500,000.
