July is here and summer is in full swing in Crested Butte! Town is bustling with activity and our summer events calendar is full of fun festivals, music, and outdoor activities. You won’t want to miss the 4th of July festivities such as Crested Butte’s 4th of July Parade or Pinkapalooza w/ Chancey Williams & The Younger Brothers Band at the I Bar Ranch. The overall residential real estate market is gaining momentum as we head into the summer season. We closed out June with $79mil in sales volume year to date. Another $40.2mil is currently under contract putting us $62.1mil below the sales volume at this same time last year. The average sales price however is up 14% to $1,276,207 from $1,095,422 and inventory is still moving rather quickly.

Current market conditions
Summer is officially here in Crested Butte and the local real estate market is gaining momentum for the summer season. Residential sales volume through June totaled $79,124,881 which is down $62,184,569 from this time last year. The number of transactions are also down (62 compared to 291). The average sales price, $1,276,207, however is up 14% from $1,095,422 last year. Currently there are 36 properties under contract totaling $40,279,776; 10 of which are listed at $1mil or more including this beautiful new home in the Town of Crested Butte, listed by our office for $5,395,000.
