We had a wonderful February here in Crested Butte and opened “Wall-to-Wall,” as Teo 2 bowl opened for only the fourth time in history! With just a month left of the ski season here in Crested Butte, we’re embracing the energy in town as we welcome spring break visitors. With spring season also comes tax season! Our March 2024 issue dives into February sales year over year. We continued to see an increase in supply of inventory and new listings. Additionally, the average days on market for residential properties was down 32% across Gunnison County in February compared to last year. Current Market Conditions
Despite less residential transactions last month, we saw an increase in total sales volume, average sale price, months of supply, and new listings compared to the same time last year. February land sales experienced the opposite trend; an increase in total transactions but a decline in total sales volume, average price, and new listings YOY as all but one sale were rural parcels sold for under $275k.
