We’re looking forward to several events this month, including the Crested Butte Arts Festival this weekend, which is back on Elk Avenue! The outdoor Alpenglow concert series and Music on the Mountain concerts are also not to be missed. In addition to events, there are many fun summer activities to try! Now is the time to get out and make the most of warm weather in the Gunnison Valley, but please do your part to keep our beloved valley beautiful and Leave No Trace!
 
The Crested Butte Collection Market Update is your source for the latest real estate trends throughout Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. Our August 2024 issue provides year-over-year comparisons of sales over the past month. Although days on market tend to decrease during our summer selling season – and they have in some segments – we are seeing longer days on the market compared to 2023 throughout Gunnison County. Total residential sales decreased 7% in July YOY county-wide, but the upper Gunnison Valley experienced a 47% increase in sales in July compared to last year. July 2024 Real Estate Review

The number of residential sales throughout Gunnison County dipped slightly compared to last year (38 vs 41) and we are seeing an increase of days on market across all segments. Below is a snapshot of July sales statistics year over year.
