Can you believe it’s October? Time sure flies in paradise! We had such an eventful summer with live music performances, festivals, and more. As the leaves turn and the golden hues of fall envelope the valley, we are embracing the inevitable change of pace. This is a beautiful time of year in Crested Butte. As many take time to regroup after the busy summer season, we can expect some limited business hours, but we’ve put together an Off-Season Dining Guide to help. We’ll continue to keep this updated as we hear about changes.
 
The Crested Butte Collection Market Update is your source for the latest real estate trends throughout Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. Our October 2024 Market Update dives into September sales throughout Gunnison County and the Upper Gunnison Valley as we compare real estate sales year over year. September experienced a decline in real estate sales across the board with 41% less residential sales compared to 2023, and 43% less land sales. Despite a lull in sales, listings are generally moving faster than the same time last year, with days on market dropping 25% for residential and 45% for land listings. For more market trends we’re seeing currently, read out October 2024 Market Update.
