Fall is in the air and with the hints of snow, things around town are beginning to slow down a bit. With pandemic restrictions loosening up some and local cases down, we look forward to seeing the event calendar grow.

With the first dustings of snow in the High Country, we begin looking forward to fall activities. There is still time to get in some great hiking and biking. Don’t miss the Trek For Life on September 10th as well as the Crested Butte Film Festival which runs September 25th – October 4th.

Summer is in full swing and despite covid restrictions, there are plenty of great local events to check out. While many are still held virtually, there are several smaller, more intimate events being held throughout the valley.

As we move into summer, Gunnison County has released their Tenth Amended Public Health Order. With this we saw more businesses, including restaurants and bars, open back up and the approval of larger gatherings.

The past few months have been trying times for the Gunnison Valley. With the County’s Reopening Plan, we are excited to see restrictions loosen and businesses open back up. We’re starting to see more virtual events offered throughout the community as well.
