Winter Activities in Crested Butte

The Gunnison Valley is a meca for winter sports and Crested Butte offers plenty of winter activities. Those looking for winter fun in the snow will be hard pressed to find a better place. With deep powder and epic backcountry terrain, even if you don’t ski there are plenty of other winter activities to enjoy. From snowmobiling and snowshoeing to dog sledding, most of these winter activities are also family-friendly. Crested Butte is also fortunate to have The Adaptive Sports Center, a local nonprofit which aims to provide equal access to outdoor recreation for people with disabilities.
